LIVE WORK
Yiannis is a versatile and dynamic live performer, often commended for his warm stage presence and charismatic showmanship. He is equally comfortable indulging his flamboyant streak when it is appropriate for the venue and audience or dressing and performing conservatively and classically for many of his other gigs. His colourful voice has been described as soulful, tender, emotive and powerful as he is able to ‘belt out’ when a song calls for it yet texture with underplayed subtlety at other times. Yiannis has performed at a variety of top venues including Stockbrook Manor, Soho Revue Bar, London Astoria, Pop, Millennium Club, 2Brewers, West 5 and The Reflex nightclub to name but a few. He has also performed at music festivals, in theatres and other great venues both here and abroad.
Aside from live work to promote his own material, Yiannis also boasts a broad set list of popular covers spanning all decades from the 50’s to current chart material. The diverse mixture of ballads, mid-tempo and up-tempo hit songs from both male and female acts makes Yiannis the perfect choice of artist for any event, function or live setting where covers are required. In addition to his extensive list of backing tracks Yiannis has his own PA system inclusive of amp, speakers, two mini-disc players and both a handheld and headset radio mic.

He continues to have regular solo gigs at various venues in and around London and the South East. However, in December 2007, Yiannis also joined established function band 7th Wonder as one of four lead singers. He has gigs booked throughout the remainder of the year with them – www.7th-wonder.co.uk
Yiannis is very interested in musical theatre and has been involved in musical productions in the past. This is an area of work that he is incredibly keen to explore and his vocal ability certainly lends itself to this possible direction.
